Who has never dreamt of throwing their luggage into the boot of the car and hitting the road? To be able to set up camp whenever you feel like it? Staying one night or several weeks in the same place without worrying about where to sleep? Not many, that’s for sure! Let’s do it!
But the financial investment of a campervan or a caravan and the discomfort of a tent have often been the reason not to follow that dream…until the arrival of the Teardrop Trailer.
A small house on wheels, no bigger than a trailer but offering ideal conditions of comfort and space for the adventurers who will appreciate, besides all its functional qualities, its American vintage style.
Very popular in the 1950s in the United States, the first Teardrop Trailer was born in the 1930s in California. A symbol of freedom, which owes its name to its drop-of-water shape, which went on to revolutionise the world of the open-air accommodation…
The Toulouse brand Hundred Miles, with the help of designer Patrick SARRAN, decided to manufacture and market MyDrop, a Teardrop Trailer which is positioned in the tradition of its American big sisters.
Strong and aerodynamic, MyDrop tows like any other trailer. Weighing less than 750kg, no special licence is required.
MyDrop can be towed by any vehicle, without significantly affecting fuel consumption.
Its main part is occupied by a double bed. A small kitchen, integrating a cool box (12V/220V) and a sink, is at the back. A storage box situated on the trailer tongue completes the equipment so giving you the optimal space required for your adventure.
